Community Environment Action Fund 2019

Cork County Council is pleased to announce the launch of the 2019 Community Environment Action Fund, previously known as the Local Agenda 21 scheme. This fund is designed to help increase local levels of environmental awareness and to help local communities become more sustainable. If you are aware of any local community group, school or residents association interested in submitting a project for funding please make them aware of this scheme and of the online application form at www.yourcouncil.ie.

The scheme is open to applications from all individuals and groups who have appropriate projects in mind. However, funding is limited and Cork County Council will award funding to projects that best meet our qualifying criteria.  Please note that the Minister has asked that priority be given to Climate and Biodiversity projects in the 2019 scheme.  Projects focusing on biodiversity should take account of the National Biodiversity Action Plan and/or the All Ireland Pollinator plan and how it applies to the local area.
Applications should be submitted online ONLY at www.yourcouncil.ie/service/CEA_Fund before 5:00pm on the 27th September
Should you require any further information please contact ceafund@CorkCoCo.ie.

For City Schools and groups application forms are available to download below.

Applications must be submitted by e-mail to environment@corkcity.ie or by post to “Environmental Awareness Officer, Culture, Community & Placemaking Directorate, Cork City Council, City Hall, Cork” no later than 5pm, on 27 September 2019.
